Applying for a position at Blockrise

At Blockrise, we are always on the lookout for talented and ambitious individuals to join our team. The application procedure at Blockrise consists of the following stages:

  1. Application with a CV and a cover letter.
  2. Getting to know each other during a first interview.
  3. An assignment to test the skills of the applicant.
  4. Meeting the team during a second interview.
  5. Deciding upon the terms of employment.

Stage 1: Application with a CV and a cover letter

The first step in applying for a position at Blockrise is to send us your CV and a cover letter in response to an open position on our website. Read the job description carefully and adjust your application documents accordingly to the information requested. In your CV, please highlight your relevant experience, skills and education; in your cover letter, please collaborate further upon your suitability and motivation for the position, next to providing a brief life description.

Send your CV and cover letter to recruitment@blockrise.com before the date the application closes, as mentioned in the job description. Please mention the position you are interested in and optionally prior experience in FinTech.

Stage 2: Getting to know each other during a first interview

If we think that you could be a good fit for our team, we will invite you to our office for a first interview. This interview is an introduction where we will get to know you better and you can learn more about the position and the company. During this interview, we will discuss your experience, your motivation for working at Blockrise, and your expectations for the job. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the company and the position.

Stage 3: An assignment to test the skills of the applicant

If we are positive about continuing the application procedure after the first interview, we may give you an assignment related to the job you are applying for. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills and show how you organize your work.

This assignment will differ, according to the position you are applying for. A junior developer will get a different assignment than a mid-level compliance analyst. The assignment will need to be completed in a certain time frame. Every applicant can discuss the exact length of this time frame in relation to personal circumstances.

Stage 4: Meeting the team during a second interview

If you successfully complete the assignment, we will invite you to a second interview. During this interview, we will discuss the details of the job more in-depth. We may ask you more specific questions about your experiences and plans for the future, and we will give you more information about what working at Blockrise entails. This is also the moment to take a look around the office and talk to your possible future colleagues.

Stage 5: Deciding upon the terms of employment

If we believe that you are a good contribution to the team, we will offer you an employment contract. This contract will outline your job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and other details. If you have any questions or concerns about the contract, we will work with you to negotiate the terms to ensure that both parties are satisfied.
