How to buy and sell bitcoin

As all trades with Blockrise are settled directly on the blockchain, it might take longer for a trade to finalise;
As trades take longer to finalise, the final exchange rate and fees might slightly differ.

Once logged in, follow these steps:

In the left menu, go to "Brokerage"
To buy bicoin with euros, fill in the amount of euros you would like to use to buy bitcoin with on the left side.
Click on Buy at the bottom.
You will be asked to carefully check and confirm the transaction.
Sign the transaction using your Blockrise Seed or Blockrise App to authorize the trade.
Once the transaction is signed, Blockrise will execute the trade on your behalf, ensuring that the purchased bitcoin are securely added to your account. This can take up to a few hours, depending on the network, since all our trades are on-chain transactions processed on the blockchain.

In the left menu, go to "Brokerage"
On the left-hand side, click on the green EUR button and it will change to bitcoin.
On the right-hand side, the currency has now automatically been switched to EUR. This means you will receive euros for your bitcoin currency.
Right under the sell menu, you will find an estimate of the fees for this transaction and a breakdown of how this is estimated. The total fee consists of a trading fee (for using Blockrise's services) and a blockchain fee, which is paid to the network. We cannot influence the network fees.
At the bottom, you will find the "Sell" button.
After clicking the Sell button, you will be asked to carefully check and confirm the transaction.
Sign the transaction using your Blockrise Seed or Blockrise App to authorize the trade.
Once the transaction is signed, Blockrise will execute the trade on your behalf. This can take up to a few hours, depending on the network, since all our trades are on-chain transactions processed on the blockchain. Once it has been processed, you will find your euros on your euro balance.
