When depositing cryptocurrencies in your account, please check if they were part of your last application regarding your Source of Funds:

  • If these crypto have been included in your previous application for Source of Funds, you can proceed with the steps below to deposit Ethereum in your account.
  • If these crypto have not been included in your previous application for Source of Funds, the first thing you should do is update your Source of Funds. You can update your Source of Funds on your Profile page.

Steps to deposit Ethereum in your account

When you want to deposit Ethereum in your account from an external wallet (and your deposit limit is not exceeded), please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Blockrise dashboard on a computer or laptop
  2. In the left-hand menu, click "Wallet"
  3. Click "Deposit" behind your Ethereum balance
  4. Enter the amount in ETH (not euro) you'd like to deposit
  5. Select the Ethereum network and click the confirm checkbox
  6. Click the "Confirm" button
  7. Your deposit address will now be shown. You can copy the address with the clipboard icon:
    • It is advised to copy the address and not manually type it since that is prone to errors
  8. Paste the wallet address on the platform you want to send your Ethereum from (for example the window of a crypto exchange or external wallet) and follow the steps needed to deposit it on said platform
  9. Wait for your transaction to be processed and to reach your Blockrise Wallet. This can take from a couple of minutes to several hours.

Please note that crypto transactions cannot be reversed. If a mistake has occurred, the transaction cannot be undone. It is recommended for large sums of crypto to, firstly, send a small amount of crypto to a new address and confirm that it is a valid and reliable wallet before, secondly, sending the entire sum.
