How to install the Blockrise App

The Blockrise App provides an additional layer of security to your funds by saving a substitute of your Blockrise Seed inside a secure mobile application. The app allows you to manage your Blockrise account on the go, including viewing balances, executing trades and signing transactions.

You can find the Blockrise App in the App store for iOS or Play store for Android devices. 

Installing the Blockrise App

App installation is part of the Blockrise onboarding process. After starting your account setup in the dashboard, you will be prompted to install the app to complete account creation.

Once you have downloaded the app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Blockrise App and log in with your email address, password and 2FA token.
2. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
3. Choose a suitable PIN code for the Blockrise App and confirm it. 
4. (Optional:) Enable biometric confirmation (such as fingerprint access control or Face ID).
5. (Optional:) Give a suitable name to your device. 
6. Fill in your 24-word Blockrise Seed.

After installing the Blockrise App, you can open the app with the installed PIN code.

Signing transactions with the Blockrise App

In the Blockrise App, you can check your account balances and sign transactions. You can choose between manually filling in your Blockrise Seed or scanning the QR code available in the dashboard when signing transactions.

To sign a transaction by scanning the QR code:

1. Log in to your Blockrise App and select the button 'Sign with QR.'
2. Use the camera of your phone to scan the QR code, displayed in the Blockrise dashboard. 
3. Compare the two codes that have appeared on your computer and phone screens. If they are the same, proceed with the transaction. If not, please contact our Support team through Live Chat.
4. Enter the PIN code of your Blockrise App to finalize the transaction. 

After entering your PIN code, your Blockrise App can be identified as your device to authorize the transaction.
