Privacy at Blockrise

Why does Blockrise need my personal information?

Under the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation, we are required to verify the identity of all clients and the source of their funds. We understand that we are requesting sensitive data from our clients, and we process and secure this information in a strictly confidential manner.

 

What kind of personal data is processed?

The personal data we gather from our registered clients include:

  • Personal information, such as first and last names.
  • User information, such as correspondence with our Support team.
  • Sensory information, such as provided pictures of clients.
  • Employment information, such as job titles.
  • Company information, such as a company’s legal name.
  • Financial information, such as bank account or wallet information.
  • Commercial information, such as trading activity.
  • Online identifiers, such as an IP address.
  • Device information, such as browser information.
  • Usage information, such as system activity.
  • Geolocation information.

How is personal data stored?

While we cannot guarantee absolute security, Blockrise works hard to protect client data from unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration. Our security measures include:

  • Encryption of Blockrise website communications with SSL.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) for all sessions.
  • Periodic review of our personal information collection, storage, and processing practices.
  • Restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis for Blockrise employees, contractors, and agents.
  • Additional encryption of sensitive files, such as client documents, which are stored on a separate archive filesystem.
  • Hosting of all email services by a well-known and reliable email provider.
