What is the Blockrise App used for?

The Blockrise App provides an additional layer of security to your funds by saving a substitute of your Blockrise Seed inside a secure mobile application. When conducting transactions in the Blockrise dashboard, the Blockrise App offers a more convenient way to sign transactions by scanning a QR code rather than manually entering your entire Blockrise Seed.

You can find the Blockrise App in the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). 

Functionality of the Blockrise App

There are two "modes" for your app: one is to only view your balances and performance, and the more complete mode also allows you to sign transactions by scanning a QR code.

Scanning the QR code to sign off transactions is very much like paying for an online purchase using the QR scanner in your banking mobile app. It's a very convenient and fast way to confirm any transaction.

Signing transactions with the Blockrise App

To sign a transaction by scanning the QR code, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Blockrise App and select the button 'Sign with QR.'
2. Use the camera of your phone to scan the QR code, displayed in the Blockrise dashboard. 
3. Compare the two codes that have appeared on your computer and phone screens. If they match, proceed with the transaction. If not, please contact our support team. 
4. Enter the PIN code of your Blockrise App to finalize the transaction.
