How to withdraw bitcoin from your account

If you want to withdraw bitcoin from your Blockrise account to a verified external wallet, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Blockrise dashboard on a computer or laptop
2. On the left-hand side in the menu, click "Wallet" 
3. You will find an overview of the bitcoin balances you have in this wallet, with a "Withdraw" button behind them
4. Click this "Withdraw" button
5. Fill in the withdrawal amount
6. Select a known wallet address from the list or add a new one with the "+" sign
7. Enter your 2FA code 
8. Sign the transaction by scanning the QR code with your Blockrise App, or by manually filling in your 24-word Blockrise Seed.

Your transaction may take some time to be processed by Blockrise and the blockchain network. You can track your transaction on the blockchain by using a blockchain explorer.

For every withdrawal, a blockchain fee is deducted from your withdrawal amount. A blockchain fee is a bitcoin transaction fee that is charged to users when performing bitcoin transactions. Blockrise requests a minimum amount of bitcoin to be withdrawn to account for the blockchain fee.

Please note that bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed. If a mistake has occurred, the transaction cannot be undone. It is recommended for large sums of bitcoin to, firstly, send a small amount of bitcoin to a new address and confirm that it is a valid and reliable wallet before, secondly, sending the entire sum.
