I have trouble logging in

This article will guide you through common login issues and provide solutions to help you regain access to your account.

1. Not receiving the email verification code

Solution:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder
  2. Make sure you are entering the email address associated with your Blockrise account
  3. Wait a few minutes — delivery can occasionally be delayed
  4. Try requesting a new code
  5. If the issue persists, contact support@blockrise.com

2. Incorrect email

Solution:

Double-check your email address for typos, extra spaces, or any other errors. Make sure you do not have caps lock enabled. If you have multiple email addresses, try checking all inboxes for recent emails from Blockrise to figure out which email you have used for your account. If this does not work, please contact support@blockrise.com.

3. Passkey not working

Solution:

  1. Make sure you are using the same device you registered your passkey on
  2. Ensure your device's biometric features (fingerprint, Face ID) or screen lock are enabled
  3. Try using a different browser — some older browsers do not fully support passkeys
  4. If you have lost access to your passkey device, please see I have lost access to my passkey or authenticator app

4. Authenticator app issues

Solution:

  1. Ensure the code you are entering has not expired — codes refresh every 30 seconds
  2. Check that the time on your phone is set to automatic, as an incorrect clock can cause codes to be invalid
  3. If you have lost access to your authenticator app, try your restore codes
  4. If you no longer have your restore codes, please see I have lost access to my passkey or authenticator app

5. Account locked due to too many failed login attempts

Solution:

If you have too many failed login attempts, your account will be temporarily locked. Please wait 1 hour and try again.

6. Browser or device issues

Solution:

  1. Try using a different web browser or device to see if the issue persists
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies to resolve potential conflicts
  3. Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might interfere with login processes
  4. Contact support@blockrise.com with information on what device and browser you are using and we will work on a solution with you

7. Network problems

Solution:

  1. Check your internet connection and ensure it's stable
  2. Access the login page from a different network, like a mobile data connection
  3. Restart your router or modem if necessary

8. Unverified IP address

Solution:

  1. If you receive a message indicating your IP address is unverified, check your email
  2. Follow the instructions in the email to confirm your IP address
  3. If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder
  4. If you still cannot verify your IP address, contact support@blockrise.com
